Captained Charters
Private Vessel, All Inclusive
A captained charter with First Reef Sailing allows the guests to charter the entire boat and customize their own itinerary. The charter fee covers the entire boat for 7 days which is capable of sleeping 6 guests in 3 double cabins. While the boat can sleep 6, most charters opt to only have 4-5 guests to allow for more space. ​

More Information
Typical Day
Each day can take any format you desire! We try to maximize each charter by only spending one or two nights in each location. Most groups choose to do an activity in the morning and sail in the afternoons! Activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, fishing, walking around town, visiting local attractions and more.
Equipment Onboard
Our boat comes equipped with a 10’ highfield dinghy with a 20 horsepower outboard making zipping from boat to shore a breeze! We also have fins, snorkels and masks for up to 6 people plus assorted water toys.
Provisions
We will visit the grocery store on the first day and stock the boat for the rest of the course/charter according to your preferences and with assistance from First Reef Staff
British Virgin Islands Requirements
If you choose to spend your charter in the British Virgin Islands make sure to bring your Passport! There are no visa requirements for US Passport holders. We will be departing the USVI on the first day and checking into the BVI's. Your captain will take care of the check in process, all you have to do is fill out a short form and pull out your passport! All BVI charter weeks will include a $1500 dollar surcharge to cover the customs, immigration and cruising permit fees.

The trip will begin and end at our dock at Saga Haven Marina on St. Thomas.
Saga Haven is located on the East end of St. Thomas, only a 20 minute cab ride from the airport. We are only a 5 minute drive from Red Hook which boasts plenty of dining and shopping opportunities.
