We are thrilled to announce the launch of our First Reef Sailing Charter Club—an exclusive membership opportunity that will elevate your boating experience this season! Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the water, our carefully crafted membership tiers provide flexible options to suit your needs, all while ensuring you have access to top-tier vessels and unmatched service.
The goal of the Charter Club is to provide access to cruising boats over longer timeframes allowing members to sail further and spend more time aboard enjoying the magnificent sport of sailing!

The Dufour 41 is a well equipped cruising sailboat with 3 double cabins, 2 heads, spacious cockpit and swim platform, built-in grill, diesel generator and heat/air-conditioning.
Easy Access to Boston Harbor
Our fleet is docked at Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina in East Boston. This allows easy access to both the inner harbor and outer harbor. Also, parking is completely free!
Simple Reservation Software
Reserve boats, modify or cancel reservations and see which boats are available through our online reservation software from your computer or your phone.

The club is open 7 days a week.

36 Hour Rule
The 36 hour rule allows members to reserve a bonus sailing block if it is available within the next 36 hours with out it counting towards your reservation allotment. A great way to pack in even more sailing!

Comprehensive Training and Support

Orientation - At the start of the season, every member attends an orientation where they learn the systems of the boat, proper procedures as well as practice the practical skills needed for a successful week aboard such as docking, anchoring, mooring, setting the sails, reefing and dropping sails.

Professional Weather Briefing and Route Assistance - Members have access to our professional captains for a weather briefing and route analysis of their intended sailing week. This allows for advice, ideas, destinations and timeframes to maximize your enjoyment of your sailing experience.

Day Sailing Access

Members have access to the boat via the 36 hour rule allowing them to book the boat for a day if it is not reserved within the next 36 hours

One Time Orientation Fee: $1,500 (mandatory for all members)

Cleaning: Members can clean the boat themselves or arrange for a professional cleaning service at their expense. Cleaning services must be arranged via the app prior to charter.
How The Charter Club Works

Orientations and Training
Our comprehensive 2 part orientation program ensures you're fully prepared for your adventure on the water:

Group Orientation in May/early season, including 4-6 hours with a captain onboard, boat tour, and introductory training on systems, docking, and safety procedures.

A 2-hour Weather Analysis, Route Guidance and Refresher with a professional captain before departure, helping you feel confident as you set sail.
